Operation Hernia has entered into a partnership with AGM Petroleum Ghana Limited, through a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project. The aim is to help improve the health of Ghanaians by improving access to treatment of debilitating hernias.

The European Hernia Society assisted in the establishment of Operation Hernia in 2005. The EHS has since supported Operation Hernia’s humanitarian hernia service and the training of local surgeons.

The Ghana Hernia Society is an independent organisation of hernia surgeons in Ghana. Operation Hernia partners the GHS in a national hernia training programme.

The Herrod Foundation, is a registered non-profit organisation with its administrative office located in Montreux, Switzerland. The Herrod Foundation has provided Operation Hernia missions to Rwanda and Botswana with generous financial support. We are grateful.

Medtronic is a Medical Technology company. In 2021, Medtronic teamed up with European Hernia Society to promote Operation Hernia at the 2021 European Hernia Conference in Copenhagen, Denmark. In 2021, Medtronic provided vital support to the charity’s humanitarian hernia service training programme.

Ediface is an innovative E-Learning Platform. Ediface provides Operation Hernia with online facilities for hernia training courses in low income countries. We are grateful for this technical support.

Association of Surgeons in Training ( ASiT) partners Operation Hernia in the award of the Shorland Fellowship to UK senior surgical trainees. This is a scheme which is funded by Operation Hernia, provides unique training opportunities in complex groin hernia surgery.

Surgeons for Africa is a Medical Charity based in Berlin, Germany. The Charity works hand in hand with Operation Hernia in Rwanda.

Rwanda Legacy of Hope (RLOH) is a Rwandan Charity registered in both Rwanda and Plymouth. Since 2012, Operation Hernia collaborates with RLOH in the humanitarian work in Rwanda.

The Plymouth-Ghana Link is a shared parent of Operation Hernia. When Operation Hernia was formed in 2005, it was through the Plymouth Ghana Link that we became established in Ghana.

College of Surgeons of East, Central and Southern Africa (COSECSA) is the largest Surgical Training Institution in Sub-Saharan Africa. COSECSA accredited Operation Hernia as Trainers of COSECSA residents in Hernia surgery on July 28, 2015. Operation Hernia organises COSECSA hernia training courses in Uganda.
